Appayon Indian Restaurant, 2 Chester Road, Poynton, Stockport, SK12 1QT (“we”, “us”, “our”), is responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

What we collect When you request a table we collect your name, telephone number, email address, requested date and time, party size and any optional special requests. Our contact form collects your name, email address and message. We also keep booking status, correspondence and delivery records for booking messages. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in messages.

Our hosting and security providers may process connection information, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. The website itself does not load analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we use it and our legal basis We use booking details to respond to your request and arrange your reservation, taking steps at your request before entering a contract and performing that contract. We use contact messages to respond to enquiries and security records to protect our service, based on our legitimate interests. We meet applicable legal and accounting obligations where required.

Optional Google Maps content is enabled only with your consent. This website does not currently offer a marketing subscription. Booking information is not a marketing opt-in.

Service providers and external websites The site uses Sites hosting and an Appayon backend backed by Supabase for website records. Booking email delivery uses Sender when configured. Authorised restaurant staff can access records to handle bookings and enquiries. The restaurant can contact customers about bookings by telephone, email or WhatsApp.

Online ordering opens the restaurant’s FoodBooking page as a separate website. The ordering provider collects the information needed for orders and payments under its own privacy arrangements; this website does not collect payment card details.

When you enable the embedded Google Map, Google receives connection information and may set its own cookies. See https://policies.google.com/privacy and our Cookie Policy. We may disclose information to authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information.

Retention We retain information only as long as needed to handle your booking or enquiry, resolve issues and meet legal requirements.

Your rights Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
